I May Be Purchasing The $99 Coilovers From Autowarehouse.....
*Daily driver, I don't plan on taking it to the track anytime soon and yes I did try search and couldn't find a straight forward answer. *
Does anybody have any experience with these coilovers? Ride quality? On stock shocks? My '99 hatch only has about 103k right now on the stock shocks, would I be ok if I lowered it 2-2.25" MAX(initially I was going to just lower it 1.75" but I may want more later on) without any problems with camber wear, blowing my shocks, ride quality, etc.
The car is not going to go on the road for awhile maybe till next spring but if it does go on the road it will probably be like a 20-30min drive but for the meantime would I be ok just for the next couple of months so I can buy adjustable shocks and the camber kit?
Am I going to be able to commute around the city ok with that kind of a drop (2-2.25" MAX)?
Thanks,
Fred
Here's a pic of the drop I'm looking for, how many inches do you guys think that is?

pple dis them cuz they spend alot more on coils. really they aren't bad. bouncy on stock shocks but so a re all coilovers. i have them
was dumped, but due to bottoming out i raised it some. just was outside playin wit the height of mine
good for $100, but get some adjustable shocks to make the most of coilovers

At 1.75 inches you'll have negative camber for sure. Spend the extra cash and buy the pro kit by Eibach. The ride quality on stock shocks will not be that bad and minimal neg camber but in time you'll have to upgrade your struts.

If your just looking for a low drop, then why not. It's only $100 right? But if you value ride quality, drivability, and your OEM shocks, you shouldn't buy them. Spend the extra $100 or so and pick up a set of H&R Sports. They ride nice, look good and won't kill your shocks. My OEM shocks have over 100000k's on them and still ride fine.

i put them in today... for $99 a very good set up... i have illumina's so the bounce is non-existant... but i would garuntee they'll shred stock shocks in no time...
so get some good shocks and have a blast with em... if you get illuminas the whole set up would cost like $700... not to shabby i'd say
