i hear a noise (part 2)

when im driving and turn right i hear a clunking noise....at first i thought it was from the right side....now it seems to be coming from the center...im totally lost....alinement maybe?

why make two threads with the same name!!!

now when i shift from 3rd to 4th i hear a small backfire

could be alot of thing like a loose or bad front wheel bearings or maybe the brake pads/shoes are loose or broken, or more commonly, worn CV-joints

Edit: i noticed u said clunking....hmm....not to sure now...wait for bbarbulo to come in i guess.

possibly upper strut mounts? tie rod ends?
but if it happens only when you are turning right and if it sounds like horse trotting then your cv shaft is gone

check to see if your CV boots are torn and if the grease has leaked out. Also, check to see if the upper or lower balljoints boots are torn

When u make a right and it is clunking. Your left outer cv boot is ripped. U need to replace the whole shaft then. U are putting load on the left side when u are making a left turn. If it's coming from the centre it could be other things. But u said clunking when turning, check to see if there's greese on the rims.
