How to tell when shocks are blown?

Like title says, how do you determine whether or not your shocks are blown or not. I think mine are, but I'm not sure.

Thanks in Advance,
D-T

If your ride is bumpy as hell then that's a good indication that the shocks are gone.

shocks

we'll u can look at the assembly when u have it jacked up and see grease from the shock leaking another way to tell is if you jack it up and it doesn't come back down meaning the shocks seize (legacy 73 has done this before to my old impulse), if you push it down it won't return very fast or it does but bounces for a bit, or as a last resort if your car is not lowered you can compare it to an equally stock car and there will be a different wheel gap (figured this out with my camaros). hope this helps

Have a friend drive beside you in another car.....if he see that the tire is bouncing waaay more than the others on a bumpy road (do at least 60Km), then it's gone.
