how to remove power steering?

Does anyone know how to remove the power steering from a 92 Civic?

Pump & Lines, Steering rack.

If you want to convert to manual steering, it's probably a good idea to get a manual rack. Though alot of people use there non-power racks as manual ones, but I don't believe it was designed to be utilized as such and might run into problems further down the road.

If your looking into something other than steering feel and want quicker ratio steering, try an Integra Rack. As you already know, DC2's and EH's(EG's) are interchangeable.

I'd also recommend changingt he rack to a manual one...

if you don't want a manual rack then make sure you loop the lines and leave fliud in them...

remove power rack, pump and lines, then replace with a manual rack from the junk yard or a rebuilt unit from a parts store.

as for the 96-00, there is a manual steering rack available from the CX models I guess. call the dealer to confirm - call the parts dep't and ask for a manual steering rack for a 96 CX.
