how much is it worth?

currentyly i m in the market looking for a d16y7 auto tranny
how much do u guys think it worth??

if you can find one for around $850-$900 that would be an awesome deal!



no seriously though transmission shops will charge you around $600 but on here you can probably find one for a few hundred... i dunno dont hold me to that though... im estimating...

I got mine for $175 and it included a free motor with it. Sitting in my garage as a spare (sold the motor off for $160). I'd sell it to you for cheap but suspect I'll need it in the next couple months if my high HP plans go in effect.


Tranny by itself probably worth $100 - $200 if you can find one.

yeah, auto tranny $100 or so. loudsubz used to have a spare, I dunno if he sold it. Usually shops have some sitting around when they do auto to manual swaps for ppl. maybe Scott Newman would have some at his shop?

if u were cooler and drove 5 speed, a tranny would be easier to install and find
