people with the b16 2nd gen jdm engines, how much was the total on getting your engine installed?

mines burning oil, but so far, ive driven it with hardly any problems. im thinking, if i hold out, maybe i can purchase a b series depending on price.....

i need to know everythingggg!
im riding in a d16z6 hooked into a 92 civic si hb
what do i need to change out other than the motor?

Get it done at Altech...

Not sure what Joe's current prices are but they are one of the most reasonible not to mention their installs are cleaaaaaaaan!

Happy??? (Formerly HappyB16) and myself both had our Civics (hatchbacks) done there.

What do you need? Engine, Tranny and ECU of you're going for JDM B series motors. I wouldn't "hold out" too long because....

A) it'll go on you when you least expect it and leave you stuck somewhere.

B) The longer you hold out, the more rare JDM B16's will be. The more rare, the more expensive.

Regards,
OK

Other than the motor, tranny, clutch and ecu, you'll need shift linkage, motor mounts and drive shaft from an Integra. Can't think of anything else off the top of my head. Everyone, please feel free to add anything that I haven't mentioned.

If its a JDM B16A2 it will drop right into a 5th gen hatch back without mounts and the shafts should come with the install at Altech.

As for a shift linkage, its not crucial but its recommended.. Try and get a Type R linkage and you'll be good to go.

OK
