How does strut bar work??

GOod evening all!
I am just wondering, how does a strut bar work? How is it useful to a car??

If I buy a strut bar, will I be able to easily notice the difference when turning?? Thanks!

All depends which type you get. IMO, a lot of the ones that are out there are just for show.

Also, assuming you're referring to an upper front strut bar, you'd need a little more than that to really notice a difference in handling.

just my opinion.

Imagine a square box joined by 4 sticks at the ends. You can shift the box pretty easily. By adding cross members and other horizontal members, the body becomes more rigid.

Bars will help to increase the rigidity of your car, but you also need better suspension and a set of good tires so when you turn, you car stays on the track and won't slip out.

I have front tower bar, but I am driving with stock suspensions and stock tires, like really, really old tires. My car slips on a 60km 90 degree sharp turn so really, even if the bar did what it suppose to do, I couldn't feel it because all my other stuff are still stock.

You will need bars, and you will need other things, too.

What, you didn't like my "analogy" LOL j/k good one Nova

Do lower first to help eliminate wheelhop, upgrade sway bars and rims+tires... then do upper brace from a GSR.
