How do you know if you have air trapped in your coolant system?

did u bleed it via the bleeder valve?

Exactly what I was thinking. Having the rad cap off by itself will do little to no good unless the bleeder vale is open to expel the bubbles.

Well with the rad cap off and waiting for the fan to come on you can usually see bubbles rise up and out. I've read so many posts where people have done this. Which is the right or wrong way here?

The Haynes manual goes with using the bleeder valve. It's called a bleeder valve for a reason right??

that doesnt make sense. The heat is transferred from your coolant.. so before OT it shouldnt be hot.. it should just be warm.

Is it cool when its on hot? or just warm?

No coolant flush, but it was lacking coolant and I added coolant on the go because I was in a major rush. Now I have been prolonging to do a flush.

The car is cool, be it cold, or hot settings, its cool. Sucks to drive in the cold. Any ideas?
