How do you BLEED the radiator?

So we refilled my friend's EL, after replacing a leaking coolant pipe, and there is no radiator bleed valve to get the air out of his rad. The bleed valve is missing and I was wondering if there is another way of doing this....

Thanks for your help.

Run engine with rad full off coolant. Watch for coolant/air burping. Rev engine to about 2000-2500 rpm and add coolant when necessary. When fan comes on, make sure it is blowing hot. After, turn car off and let sit. Recheck coolant level, and run again, with cap on. Again, make sure fan blows hot air. While doing this, keep an eye on the engine temp. If it gets too high, turn car off and let it sit awhile. goodluck.
