how do u find out tire size ?

i got a 90 mercury topaz .. how do i find out the tire size.. i want to buy winter tires or just new tires... the stock ones are shitty ... but i don't know how to find out the size of them ?

look on your stock tires...find the digits on the side...there r 3 sets of numbers like this -> ###/##/##

well if your only changing the tires yeah, but if your buying steelies or rims + tires the obviosly it doesnt matter...

well i'm lookin for winter tires... don't think i should spend $$ to get rims on my daily driver...
