if yes, the mounting kit should of come with all the parts to rehook up the horn.

By the way, did your car come with an air bag?

I hear that if you replace the steering wheel and you don't have an airbag on the new steering wheel, you can get a BIG ticket. is this true?

yeah. if you're car has no airbag to begin with, no probs.
but if it did come with one, and you remove it, it's a decent sized ticket if you get caught...

I gotta ask, if you are the only one driving the car, what do they care whether you have an airbag or not??? Does anyone know what the ticket is for, and where in the law it states what rules apply. In my case, with harnesses, I see absolutely no reason for my airbags to blow when they cannot help me at all in case of a collision (i.e. I'll never get that far thanks to my harness). The airbag would only cause more damage. I can see if I was selling the car, and the buyer expected there to be an active airbag... Furthermore, what about Dodge trucks that have a switch to enable/disable airbags... or what it you are really short and fear for your life from the airbag, or you have children, or your wife is short or something??? Has anyone gotten a ticket for this? I just want more information...
