hondata sells a adapter thinggy
u attach to ur cars computer
then u can attach a lap top
with this unit...
u can put on a launch control type of thing
so ur revs stay at 3k when u got the throttle floored at 0 speed
also....
when engaging the clutch while the cars movning
it sets a limiter at w/e u want
ex/ 6k
so that u can drop thew clutch w/o realeasing the gas
u can program other **** too...
fuel comsumption....governor....
but im sure u guys already knwo this...
n e way...
i was wondering if someone had one of these units
and woudl be willing to program **** on my car...
for cash
better to share rather than everyoen in TO to have that 500 buck unit.

Um I think you got your facts mixed up here.

Yes it is right that the Hondata has all of those features but it's not an "adaptor thingy".

It's a standalone fuel management system. It replaces your current ECU (if you're not OBDI). They add a re-writable EPROM (I think) so you can change fuel maps, ignition timing and other things. It's truely a good investment if you are serious about modding your car to it's fullest.

Yet it comes with a hefty price tag of $1000+

I need one badly but I'll stick with my massive array of bandaids/piggy backs

For more info you should read their site.
