if you're spendling like about $200 on just the filter, you might as well go save up another $200 - $300 and purchase yourself a nice J's racing carbonfiber "*****" intake

From what I've seen and read, the HKS and Blitz both offer slightly more air flow than the K&N, but don't filter quite as well. I believe they're also more expensive. So when you compare cost vs hp gain vs filtering ability, the K&N remains the best value.

The APEXi filter is the best in terms of performance and filtering ability. The HKS and Blitz units are garbage. You'll make good power, but you might as well run without a filter cause they can't trap anything.

If you got the money, go with A'Pexi. Or else stick with K&N. You can't go wrong with K&N.

As for the CF intake, I know nothing about it.

like people have said, get the Apex'i, tests have proven that it's pretty much the best filter head on the market right now, or rather at least at the time of the test, which was like last year or the year before

Apex'i is a from me

It is around 71 USD, so around 100 bucks or less. Plus shipping and custom tax and all... I say around 130? Online order that is.
