JSK is correct...
If you hit something hard enough to blow out a perfectly good tire (assumption) then you hit something pretty darm deep and hard.
I'd have everything gone over by a good mechanic...
Control arms, ball joints, struts, wheel assembly etc.
Regards,
OK

call city hall and find out if that pothole was called in before....I was told that if a pothole has been reported to the right people than the city is resonable and HAVE to pay for the damage. This is only if the pothole was reported before hand....But if you wanna be a nice guy call and report it anyways just so it doesnt happen to anyone else.

In my area, theres been 2 water veins break
and the ground uprooted various places in the road.
its fucked up, so much water from the snow melting
plus the water from the broken veins
combined with big *** potholes
and already shitty roads...
damn... its like im rally racing out there

Before the tire is mounted back on the wheel, have the technician check for any warpage/runout on the rim.
Once back on the road, notice if the steering wheel is perfectly centered. If it's tilted to one side while the vehicle is moving straight, there's a possibility that you have a bent control arm, damaged rear cross-member, or bent radius rod (pending on model).
If the steering wheel shakes, take it to a shop that does alignments. Have the steering tie-rod ends checked, and get an alignment done.

well i put my steelies back on and took it for a test drive today for the first time since i hit the pothole and i was so relieved because everything seemed fine...suspension wasnt making any noise, the ride feels the same, aligment seems fine it goes perfectly straight, no problems turning...and the rim doesnt look warped either, i guess i got lucky...im gonna have a suspension check-up today anyways so wel see...
kinda surprising since i actually blew a tire and hit my head on the roof when i went over the hole...lol
