high pressure fuel line leak?
Hi there, it seems my high pressure line is leaking from just infront of the tank, where it comes down, it's a juction and then has a flared fitting that is part of the hose running to the engine?
How do i fix this? is that juction necessary? Can i just use fuel injector hose and clamp it on the the line before and after the leak? (with the proper clamps of course). From what i understand the max pressure i should see would be around 35-40 psi?

whatever you do, just be incredibley careful and patient.
I kinked the return line on my tank when I put my walbro in so I hacked off the kinked portion and replaced it with standard gas rubber tubing (you can get some from crappy tire)
but in the process of hacking away at the section I made several more cranks further down the line.
I ended up having to replace the entire sending unit (the piece that houses the fuel pump / runs the hardlines out of the tank) which was $450 straight from the dealer :/ (this was for a turbo colt) got it used for $50 heh but still heh.
so yeah, regular gas line hose will be fine, just make sure you clamp it down real hard, gas will leak through the smallest of holes.
