High Pitch Noise

High Pitch Noise
Since it's been raining heavy today, I noticed a high pitched sound coming from the engine bay.
It's noticeable at idle and if I rev it, it doesn't sound to get any worst.
I'm wondering if the moisture is the cause and making one of the belts squeal?
Also, when I start up the car in the morning it usually idles at 1500 - 2000 rpm's but idles within the recommended rpm range according to my Chilton’s.
I plan on tomorrow to check it out but wondering if anyone could give some thoughts.

check the power steering pump belt, the alternator belt, and a/c compressor belt (if equipped) to see if there are any checks (v-shaped grooves in the belt), cracks or if they are glazed at all.
Also check to see if any coolant is puddling/leaking by where the water pump is. I had a squeal a while ago too and i turned out to be my water pump.
Do you find your always adding coolant?

I hate waiting so I went and checked real quickly and sure enough the noise is coming from where the belts are.
As far as coolant, I just got the car about 4 weeks ago but since that time, I've noticed no leaks at all and I remember inspecting it fairly well the first 2 weeks.
A coolant flush was something I wanted to do this weekend but the weather has stopped me.
Forgot to mention, the timing belt/water pump have not been changed yet. The car has 143k on it now. I called the local dealership and they quoted me $600 something for everything but said I didn't have to until 168k, assuming the car has been driven normally and not under heavy usage.
I check tomorrow like you have recommended thanks.
