Hew Honda Filters?WTF,

I went down to honda to pick up the rest of my parts, I needed an oil fileter so i told the guy i wanted one for a delasol dohc, and he said that they where discontinued, and these are the new honda replacemnt filters, there tiny, Im thinking of returining it and geting a k&n or a formula 1 from canadian tire.

they have been using the small filters for the last 3 years

the new ones work just fine.

lol yeah but ive never bought them from honda, Just from canadian tire, those are differnt sizes.
Ill keep that one then. No need to return it then. Good.

holy **** yo, that filters like 3 - 4 years old at least, even crappy tire brand and fram have the new small ones since i can remember lol

The new, BLUE ones fit all Hondas, except Element and S2000 as I was told. They were actually first designed for CTR and ITR and then Honda just used them for all models.

Kindda expensive at $9 if you ask me.... I used F1 from crappy tire till now, but decided to use OEM for a while....

the smaller ones bump up the oil pressure...which is a good thing...on the other side is that since they are smaller they have less filtering area which can be bad and s2000 filters (the bigger ones) do fit 88-91 civics atleast and they are made by HAMP/Toyo Roki (thats the good stuff)SWEET!
