Hercules G5000Z

I'm looking at set of Hercules G5000Z tires and I was wondering if anyone had any feedback on them.
Thx
Mike

I have them on my car in 205 40 17. They're grippy, quiet enough, and the ride is comfortable. Not sure about wear yet. Definitely worth the money.

i am using G3000Z on your old SIR rims (thanks again Mike) and i think that they are great. I am using 205/50/15. I've yet to have them break loose on me in the twisties and i've pushed them pretty hard.
Like mentioned above they are pretty quiet, and for how stiff the sidewall is its a pretty good ride. But i like how stiff the sidewall is, because i am using a 205/50/15 i was worried about the sidewall flexing too much while hanging corners.
I would imagine that the G5000Z's are even better then the G3000Z's that i am using. I got mine from the Tire Haus (stone church and pritchard area, near the car wash) all 4 for under $500 mounted, balanced and tire disposal fee. Great tire for the money.

What did you guys pay for them? I found a used set of 215/45/17 that are 95% new. The seller wants $500 for them, but I found that high compared to the price I was quoted by one of our vendors for a set of Falken ZE512 tires.

like i said just under $500 mounted, balanced and tire disposale fee, but that was for the G3000V's in 205/50/15's from the Tire Haus on the east end of the mountain.

I was quoted $100 for 1 g500z in 205/40/17 by tirecraft on kipling. with tax that's $460 for the tires brand new. Might want to call around and establish a retial price for them before picking them up used.

I got the 3000's on My civic(15's) and My mom has 17"s with the 5000. I know mine stick good. The PT ride's good and has alot more grip then before. I havent' really pushed it that hard yet though.

They are garbage. Normal driving is alright but, when you get a lil more aggressive, it's slick as a button. I tried them on the VTiS and hated them. I got Parada Spec 2's instead and stuck with those until I sold the car. Now I ride on ADVAN Neova AD07 and would never ride on anything else again. They are purely awesome. Fantasic on the road and phenominal on the track. Two thumbs up for sure.

well i would imaging you would need some pretty damn good (expensive) tires to handle a boosted b18. For the money i'd say these are great tires. He's not boosted and is running the stock engine so for the money these tires are ideal.
I've got a pretty heavily modified b16 eg coupe and have yet to have them let loose on me while driving aggressively.

Have you considered Fuzions ZRi? Got mine 215/40R17 for $150 each installed and balanced. I wanted to get 215/45R17 $145 each, but it was rubbing on the rear.
