Unhappy helpppp left disc brake!

i gotta certifie my car people...
and i notice when i drive and try to stop the brakes like jerk my car ...so i checked out the brakes today and noticed the drums are fine the right front disc looks ok but th eleft one doesnt even move when i push the brake...
and the outer pad is always rubbing even when the brakes arnt used...i altready got the new rotors and pads from autowarehouse does anyone know y it could be jerking ? is ther elike a pump in the brake or osmin ? or ??
any suggestions?!!
i was thinkin maybe since the outer pad is always rubbing the rotor could be installed incorrect ? so when i hit the brake the inner pad doesnt even make contact or very little to the rotor...
could this cause it to jerk?

thanx guys

You didnt install your pads correctly...did you lubricate the clips (part where the pad slides on)... did they seat properly. Have a buddy push the break with his hand while you watch the piston on that caliper...it should move freely...then re-install the pads CORRECTLY...and voila! should solve your problem. Also...make sure your axle nut is tight and the wheel doesnt shake just when you pull on it with your hands.

Arrow

Just free up the sliders... put new lube on. clean the spots where the pads seats on... they should move free and no binds.
anti-seize compound is a good addition to those spots.
after u put everything back, make sure the brakes have no dragging too!
