Move it from C8 to C13, assuming you have not yet cooked the tach on the cluster if you've mis-pinned it.

My tach in my 99 isn't working properly either. After my swap I noticed that the blue wire on distributor was cut which is what is normally used for a tach. To correct myself, my tach does work on and off, and from what I remember there was a Orange/white wire near the back of the engine firewall connected to one of the wires going to the intake manifold.... I may need to take a picture if necessary. But anyway I tried running a wire from the cut blue distributor wire to the orange/white wire coming from the firewall (didn't work) . SO basically I need to know where to connect the blue wire from the distributor to get my tach working properly. I've searched, but haven't found anything specific to this problem.

I'll give it shot ... So I am going to connect the blue wire on the ditributor to the Test Tach Connection? Sounds like what you told me.

Is this the blue wire by the brake booster you are talking about?

The way the Tach was setup before was like this.... This Orange wire you see there was connected to the Blue/Black Wire ... This 3 wires are attached to a connector which connects to the intake manifold.
