HELP...When a swap goes wrong...

i just finished installing a b18b1 into my hatch this weekend
i just got around to starting it up tonight, and it started up beautifully
i still have the front up on jacks, w/o the tires on

me and my friends just notcied that when the car is on, and i put the car into gear (with the clutch pedal still depressed) the axles spin...what could my problem be????

"the axles spin with the clutch pedal down"

no in neutral it doesn't do the same thing....clutch in or out...nothing spins
as soon as i try to put it in gear the axles start spinning (with the clutch down)...

towelie: the one side spinning versus the other side is just because the driverside axle ain't in right yet...i haven't bolted anything down over there

OK, not for sure for sure for sure.... if you've bled your hydraulics properly... and you know you didn't damage anything, I would almost say it's normal.... For some strage reason, that doesn't strike me as abnormal cuz I *think* I've seen it before on a stock car, and we were like meh...looks normal to me. So again, I DON"T KNOW FOR SURE, but I think yer okay, and once you get tires on and put it on the ground it's not like it'll drive off by itself. LOL Or at least I don't think it should. It'll stall before it goes off driving itself. LOL

the rpms aren't going up...only when i rev (but that's normal)
alright i'm gonna finish this up...but this seems messed
won't the car roll itself off when i step on the clutch? or will the weight of the car prevent this from happeneing?

No, the weight of the car should in itself stop it. Otherwise, that's what the brakes are for Brakes generate ~~1000 hp of stopping power, sooooo.... they can easily stop your massive 140 hp engine.

i figured out that this problem of mine wasn't normal...
i forgot to bleed the air out of the hydraulic clutch lines

the air in the system was creating too much pressure (because it doesn't compress as easily as hydraulic fluid) and wasn't allowing my pressure plate to fully disengage from my flywheel...therefore i was always half in gear!!!

ahh, good thing you found out, otherwise it'd be a bitch to take off the tranny again to replace the clutch disc

now, it seems as though you are obligated to take Jugglez to a strip joint
