Unhappy Help: Tire Rubbing on 323Ci

My friend just got new rims, 18" on a 2000 BMW 323Ci, with a 1.25" drop, he suspects the rear wheels are rubbing the fenders with weight. Any solutions to fix this problem?

Well he bought new tires and new rims... I doubt he'll trade them.

So camber kit would be require?

Thanks 94EG6HB...

Although he mention something about where to get fenders rolled, I suppose cutting it and making it not rub?

A camber kit is only gonna create more problems if his tire rim combo is wrong...

What sizes if you don't mind?

This question might be better answered by our resident BMW expert audiophilia..

Alright I'll ask for the tire sizes... but you know any shops to roll the fender?

18x8.5
235/40/18
1.25 H&R drop

Si Veloz, you rubbin, or you wanna tuck the tires?

As for the BMW... tell your buddy there is not much he can do with a 323... he got jooked... he might as well just drive it right off a cliff. sorry about your luck; goodbye.

Don't do it. Someone in town rolled the lip to fit 18s... 'twas negative. Not unless your car is a track only car. If it doesn't rub now, it won't rub most likely ever. How are those studs coming

my friend has a 1998 318 bimmer and he had the same problem. What he did was get thinner tires, i think he went from 235 to 205. Not sure but I can ask him.
