Help: Tire Pressure for Mosport
 

gotten a set of falken azenis...
how much should i pump in them if i want a general understeer ride? i'm toward the safe side of course, i'm not killing myself or smashing my car to the walls by oversteer.

i'm thinking 38 in the front and 40 to the rear?

sounds like a safe setting.. are you going on the Grand Prix track or the driver development track? understeer/oversteer is determined by a lot more then Tire pressures...

Also I doubt Understeer is any safer then oversteer....

with a car set to understeer you enter a corner too hot try to brake slide to outside of the corner and smash into the wall straight on....

with a car setup to oversteer you enter a turn too hot and the back steps out and you slide to the outside of the track backwards and collide with the wall...

moral of this story if you enter a corner too hot you will hit the wall regardless of understeer/oversteer step of the car.

so you don't want to hit the wall take it easy

going to the Gran Prix... no one enter too fast on that hill except last time when i'm running with some pro BMW/911 GT3 guys, they thunder down that hill :kickass:

The rest of the "normal" people including me just rave down there with conservative speed.

As still a beginner... i guess i'll better manage understeer more than oversteer.:naughty:

And in that corner there, there will be no time to save oversteer for a FWD car, especially i have no suspension mod :thumbup:

stock suspension, it won't matter what you set the pressures at, your gonna understeer alot anyways. don't worry about the tire pressures, just go enjoy yourself.
