help on swapping

well! since my motor is not running great(f***ed) . so i am looking forward to get the swap for my car. i was thinking of a b18, but there is b18a1 and b18b1, i know these are two diff. gen. motors or maybe b20, but i am planning to boost it later on, so which one is good to go with?? and also i dont want to spend alot of money, so nothing more than 3g.. thx!

B18A1 if your going to boost, lower compression and motor is dirt cheap. And if its out of a 92-93 integra then everything should just plug right in.

B1 is better IMO, better head and cams than the a1.........both would be awesome for boost though

For a 93, which is ODB1 just go with the B18B1 like Chris said.
B20 sucks for boost unless you slevee it. Thin cyl walls.

B20 sucks because thin cylinder walls and cylinders 2 and 3 are 1 piece and they tend to crack down the middle.

If u can pick up an a1 block with a B1 complete head that would be perfect and cheap

Be carefull what you say, you should edit it for future searches etc.. Its nice to get the right info right away

My moms 98 coupe isnt obd1. 92-95 bro.

Id swap in eaither or, whatevers cheaper. Get a LS trans if you plan for turbo. (A1) There great motors, and can be pushed into the 300's on stock internals.
