No like it squeeks while the car is moving. And wen i stop, a full stop at the light, you can hear it. It is kinda loud as well. This isnt new either. Has been like this for maybe 6 months or so.

I dunno, i'm not positive. It seems like it is coming through the engine. I think i can hear it through the vents of the car.

your accesory Belt is probably loose,

what happens is everytime it gets wet... it tends to squeek and do stupid noises...

i had that happened on my Neon... all it is doing is slipping, just get the belt tighten!

p.s ACCESORY BELT!

it runs the alternator, crank pully etc.. that belt is slipping.
just get it tightened up.... if it looks bad u may need to change it!

p.s the dealership wont do ditto.
i had electrical problems in my Neon... and it was making ticking noises, but then when i took it to the dealership, they never found it!!!!!

funny thing is, they did service on my car, i grabbed the keys and jumped into my car without paying!! hahahah those were the days!

p.s.s since u mentioned that the belt s have been changed thats the answer!!!! your belts STRETCH IN TIME.. when there new... so just tighten them up!! there you go..

Oh...I know. Its the air-condition belt thing. I think it’s called the compressor. I have the same problem and if you pop your hood and listen in that direction you'll see I'm right. Just spray some silicone spray on the belt as its spinning and your problem will go away.

I hope this helps
