Help new civic owner

Hey guys, Im pretty much a noob so be kind,
just picked a 94 civix ex 4 dr. This was planned to be my daily driver in the winter, but I noticed the car has basically no pick up at all. I can floor the gas pedal and pratically no difference in pick up.

My question is which mods should I do BESIDES an engine swap that would help me with this problem.

Thanks in advance

honda motors will lack torque compare to other makes due to engine displacement.

if you wish to look for better pick up in your vehicle beside engine swap, i would suggest starting by weight reduction
