Help needed....

hey guys,

i need help with my car right now,
i recently got wierd Hollow noises coming from my rear tires...

now at first i thought maybe b/c the alignment has not been done on this car and maybe my tires????

so i changed my tires today and slap on my winters to see if the problem would be cured... NO, it happened again, wierd hollow noises.....

now my car is LOW... not slammmed but more of a Neuspeed race spring drop......

now this hollow noise coming from my wheels happened with both stock and winter.... could this be a BEARING?????

has anyone encountered this?? i need this checked out!

could be the wheel bearing
jack up the car, make sure the wheels lugs are tightened correctly, and then try to move the tire in and out from the top and bottom...if you can then you probably need to replace the wheel bearing...
but get in there and check it all out

I take it you've been trying to drift with the e-brake?? I mean... that's the only way to kill a bearing that quickly, especially in the rear.

no man no drift but what ive been trying to do was trying to use less of my braking and using more the E-BRAKE... to slow me down

maybe stupid thing to do, but i was just trying it, and no drifting for this guy.......

oh man... the ebrake puts a great deal of stress on a moving wheel bearing. yikes!! generally I say this to anyone trying to do anything ingeneus.... Honda designed it to last hella long time under normal operating conditions. if you use it as it's meant to be used, and maintain it normally, it'll last hella long time. If you go outside of it's intended use (ie. use a parking brake to stop the car, or in some cases use a car like a truck and tow things with it, and so on) then you cannot possibly expect it to last. IE. when ppl use the shifter like an arm rest... it'll mess up the tranny internally!! or when they open the door, and then lean on it to help themselves out of the car. things like that.... were NOT designed into the build specs of the car, and will take away from it's life.
