help with itr rear sway bar on an ek

Does anybody know if an itr rear sway bar will bolt right up to an 00 SiR? Also, I want to get a beaks kit but obviously my car has ABS and on the beaks website it says that the kit is not for cars with ABS......so what should I do?
mugen makes a reinforcement bracket but there isn't much info on it. I got the bar with enlinks and everything.
anybody have any ideas?

I think it should fit, because I have seen people convert their Civic bottom with ITR bottom. Basically, the whole bottom is ITR with rear dics brakes and 5 lugs. They say the conversion bolts right in, so that is why I think it should fit.

Your SIR originally have sway bars. I see.....vroom,vroom....hehe...I agree.

If you are converting to a ITR, then can you sell me your SIR sway for a reasonable price? Thanks

You could always go with the Comptech unit. I know it fits on the SiR for sure.

If you are looking for cornering power, I think you should look somewhere else. You originally have sways, it will not make a difference, unless you plan to corner at 120 km/hr. For people that originally don't have sways, then it does. If you set the sways wrong, you can increase understeer, meaning it won't turn that much, dangerous + scary = death. For FWD cars, we need oversteer. Anyways, some kits like Comptech have everything you need, it cost more in terms of original price, but if you are thinking of ITR sways and beaks etc... when you add the items up, it costs more. ITR sways, I think is the same thickness. I will check tommorrow.

actually i figured it out......its not all that difficult a concept.
actually a comptech rear sway/tie bar combo will cost me about $650. whereas the itr bar is $100 and a skunk2 tie bar is $200. so thats $300 plus polybushings and the reinforcement kit is another $100 and thats $400. total saving is $250, and I get an oem part whereas the comptech is not. I am by no means saying comptech is a crap product but I think this setup is fine for now. if it turns out to be **** then I'll swap it out for the comptech.

raocorp.. I Was looking into the ITR sway bar for my si-G (si with ABS). I emailed wil at beaks and this was his response:

"The ABS shouldn't cause a problem. If anything, the bracket would need to be trimmed and the ABS wire/line re-secured with a zip tie."

I'm pretty sure if we both order kits, they can do the trimming for us

if u dont mind me asking, where did u pick up the ITR bar and endlinks? if u want to make a project out of it let me know!!!!

ya..I emailed him too and he basically told me the same thing. I bought it used from TSR, it came with everything. I'm going to do it but not quite yet because its too cold. I'll put it on when it gets warmer and when I have more time. like in june.
I'm not too sure about your car but on mine I don't need the endlinks because the bar bolts to my factory endlinks. I'm pretty sure its the same for your car, I could be wrong though.
