I need help. I have a Honda Civic Hatchback 1991, 1.5L, but...my engine is cooked. Head gasket, Piston rings, Valve Seals, all fried. I need to find a decient engine for my car. I have someone that can install it, but I need it asap. Please Help.

Correction....Doesnt HAVE to be a 1.6L If you got a 1.5L that you swapped and want to get rid of (if it is in good cond. with low KMage, I'll take that too) or NE thing that will bolt up.

Try checking out a few JDM engine importers.

You can get a sohc ZC for cheap ($500ish). The ZC A few extra ponies than your D15. This engine is basicly a straight bolt in. I would do the DPFI to MPFI swap or (yuk!) still use the DPFI. I ran the DPFI on my ZC for over a year since I basicly just needed a to and from work/gf vehicle.

Thanks for the tip. Luckily I got some friends that can do the swap, just need to get an engine. She's got about 300K on the engine, and, well, yesterday I had an insident where the gas petal got stuck, and I reved to 7grand. >.< So yea, she sounds like she's a 3-banger. Do you know ne contacts near Kingston/Oshawa/Ottawa where I could find an engine like that, or should most shops have access to those engines?

HAHA, I am tempted to send my car to PIMP MY RIDE, see what they think of the engine there, and maybe if they wanna work with the blue smoke. >.<
