MAN DOES IT EVER!!! I don't know what I'd do if that was never invented... used properly, it'll get at any rounded or broken screw or bolt. Now, if it's stripped (threads torn from overtightening), you got other issues... then your only option is drilling it out and replacing the clip that it bolts to as well. Clip can be bought at Cross Canada or Honda dealer.

Well, stripped nuts I like to tackle with the Vise-Grip (R) and clamp on tight. But that's a different scenario.

I have the same problem as you. I couldn't remove one of mine last summer. I had 94EG6HB help me out and we both couldn't remove mine.

If anyone was wondering, the conclusion to my problem involved a power drill and drill bit! I just drilled the b!tch out and got some new screws.

a sharp chisel and a hammer can renotch the screw most of the time.

Well you kinda go from the side or infront of the handbrake. My drill wasn't huge, it wasn't easy but it wasn't that difficult.
