Help: DX to SI Intake conversion

I am going to swap my intake manifold on my d15 for the 91 si but have a few questions.
First my parts:
Intake manifold
Distributor
Ecu
Injector Resistor box
Wiring harness

Is it possible to just swap the parts and only add the wiring harness to the plug in the engine bay or do the wires not work out the right way?

Will the timing of the dx motor and the new si intake destroy my motor?

Any help on this would be great, i have magazine articles that cover this slightly but they refer to complete engine swaps, i just want to get the new intake manifold to work.

Anyone who has done this before would be a great help.

Oh, it is a 91 Civic dx hatch and the parts are all from a 91 crx si.
