help with d16z6 startup
 

i have been spending alot of time fixing a upgrading my original engine and i just drop it back in; but during start up i don't get gas or spark my friend suggested it might be my crank sensor, but i was wondering if i could get some suggestions. and if it is crank sensor where is it located?

What kind of upgrades have you done? What software are you using?

Do you hear fuel pump prime?

i have put a stage 1 cam in ti retainers and valves came with built head. all new gaskets, new clutch. headers water pump, the engine was riped out and rebuilt i then droped it in and did the valve lash, and durring start up attempt found that there was no spark coming from spark plug( we put screw driver in and tested for spark) after a few attempts i realized that i dont smell any gas either the took off conection to fuel rail and it was dry? so thats whats going on
