HELP! Car wanders on highway a lot!
Hi there,,
I have a 92 ex sedan with tien springs (about a 1.7in drop i think?) and stock everything else. Oh, with 17" rims with 205/40/17 tires. And on the high way my car wanders so much it's hard to drive at times and also seems unstable at high speeds?
I have no sway bars and usually run tire pressure about 36-38psi.
please help!

it's your wide rims man... an alignment would be needed if it always pulled in one direction... if it's wandering all over it's because your wide tires are following the grooves in the road...

alignment could be it, but honestly, i had the same problem when i was on springs and stock shocks a couple years ago... i was also on 205s as well but with 15s... it would wander to **** especially turning around where the CNE is on the QEW and on the 403 around erin mills pkwy and winston churchill before they re-paved it... the highway was ****ed...
i changed the tires to 195 and put the kyb agxs on and the problem was gone... it tracks pretty nicely now and i also dropped it another 1"... but alignment was def needed with my car.

it doens't track to one side specifically, no. I was thinking of the tires, but i mean i've had an import car with 225's on and i don't recallit being this bad?
I will adjust my tire pressure and check the bushings and tie-rod ends...i have a feeling the latter is going. thanks!
