Help with Car Troubles

Whenever I am driving, if I gas it and then put my foot off the gas, the car doesn't come to a smooth coast. It will jerk fairly hard, Anytime I am at a low speed and then gas it hard the car will jerk. Also whenever this happens there is a knocking or metallic thud coming from the passeneger side wheel it seems. So basically whenever the load of the car get shifted from front to back from either shifting or jerking the car it makes this sound. So basically the two problems are.

1. Car doesn't smoothly come to a coasting speed when I let of the gas.
2. Whenever the car jerks there is a thudding sound form the passenger side wheel.

Any Ideas?

could be a mount busted? that would explain the thud noise

Yeah it could be a mount since I just got the engine swapped out, maybe one of the new mounts is no good. How can I tell if the mount has gone bad?

I just checked under my car today, the damn mechanic forgot to bolt one of the engine mounts to the chassis! That must be the cause of the problem. I'll let you guys know if it fixes the problem
