Help!!!

hey, thanks for reading

i got a 97 integ and im curious if i put a reactive muffler/exhaust on my car will it have good performance?

but to answer your question, you prolly wont feel a difference, the sound might make you think you're going faster

If you do a full catback you might notice a difference, but not from an axleback.

Canadian tire carries a lot of different ractive models. Gotta be more specific, if its the fireball style, yes it'll be loud.

Theirs only 3 reactive exhuast at canadian tire, theirs three kind of reactive exhaust. 2 gunmetal colour muffler and 1 big silver stainless steal, i got the stainless steal one. The tip is about 4 inch and the body is like 5 inch, i hope this help

Yes it will be loud, yes you will get pulled over because of it, no it won't make a bit of difference. For a demonstration of why it won't make a bit of difference, take a straw and blow through it. Now cut off the tip of the straw and put a toilet paper roll there. Try blowing again, is it easier? Does more air get through? A 4" tip on a 2" exhaust makes no sense or horsepower.

Ok, now that you have the muffler, Im assuming the inlet is like 2.25" right? Go to a muffler shop and get them to make the same size catback piping, then at least you'll get a lil performance increase with it. Otherwise itll be the same thing as kane2k said with his analogy.

alright thanks, i wasnt really looking for performance..like any horsepower or anything..all i wanted is to know if the sound would be loud, thanks a lot for all whoe helped
