Help..32L for 300Km City...

Help..32L for 300Km City...

I have a 96 EK hatch with 220k KM on it...

i can only hvae 300Km City drive for 32L of gas..

the car passed emisson beautifully, would a new O2 Sensor help the gas mileage ???

I think it's still have the stock spark plug wires.. should i change it? where can i get NGK wire ?

thats just alittle low, check your air filter it could be dirty, change the plugs, def change the wires if they are stock... change the cap and rotor, fuel filter, basically a major tune up... canadian tire sells ngk wires

That's not bad mileage for city driving. It could be your driving habits also. Try keeping it under 3500 rpm and see what you get.

really...this is not bad??

shot..i just order a o2 sensor, which costed me $150....i think it's going to FS forum soon then..

no keep it, change it and do everything else i said... its time for a new o2 sensor at that milage and your symptoms... just dont be mad if it doesnt change anything right away after changeing it, im sure its a big combination of things.

your mileage seems just fine. I average 11liters / 100kms city and 6-7 liters/100kms hwy.
