help!

Hey everyone, i have a b16a2 with a t25 turbo on it, the problem i have is that there is alot of smoke coming from that nipple on the valve cover, i know is suppost to be connected to the intake piping, but its just loose there, but its always been like that but just a couple of days ago it started smoking ALOT, any help would be very much appreciated!

do you have your PCV valve hooked up to the intake manifold still?
If so the boost thats not getting past your PCV valve and pressurizing your crank case is probably causing it to smoke and maybe piss oil out of the crank case breather nipple (i've seen this a few times). Crankcase ventilation is very important and too often overlooked on boosted cars. The least you should do is unhook the PCV valve from the intake manifold so the boost pressure doesn't get into the crankcase through the PCV valve.

Yup.. that is very bad and usually one of the causes for engine failure.

Tell us how your pcv system is hooked up

wont unhooking my pcv valve affect how the engine runs?

if you cover the manifold port, no.

Right no you have pressurized air entered into your engine block.

so if i cap that nipple on the manifold and just take the hose straight off it will be okay???, i'm sorry for all the questions i'm just really confused

well idealy you want your crankcase vent to go to a steady vacuum source, weither it be to a well vented catch can, exhaust slash, or pre-turbo.

On my upcoming build I'm going to choose the exhaust slash method. If you dont know what that is, search it on hondatech. Theres a great thread that explains it.

i just went outside, unplugged the pcv valve, capped the hole in my intake manifold and still there is sooo much smoke coming from like line!, why is this problem anyways, its always been set-up like this but never smoked like that, what could have triggered this problem??
