double check your wiring, this sounds stupid but does the throttle cable have slack?

what ecu are you using?

3 bar map sensor?!?!?!?! Is the ecu chipped? Was a 3 bar map selected on the chip that was burned?
What ecu are you using?
What injectors are you using? (obd0 or obd1)
What distributor are you using?

not sure if its a 3 bar map sensor its the one mounted on the throttle body, the little tiny one on the top .. . . using a p75 ecu from a 95 integra, and using the original zc distributor re wired for the eg plugs, ran the blue wires over to the crank sensor on the front cam, and all the others matched up. . .

we put the original civic eg wire harnes on the motor, and the old civic injectors as they were the only ones that would plug into the harness . . .

ok so you are using an obd0 dizzy, obd1 injectors and an obd1 ecu.
I haven't had luck re-pining an obd0 dizzy for use in an obd1 car, but thats just me. I tried this on my buddys car, had a very similar problem, swapped it out for an obd1 dizzy and it was fine.
Did you maybe switch the TPS plug with the MAP plug?
Try switching them around and see what happens. I've seen this a few times, and it would do the same thing you describe.

i used the obd 0 dizzy plugs the only difference in wire colours was the 2 whites . . . there was one white wire, and one yellow wire with a green stripe . .. so i tried switching them around and one way it ran the other it wouldn't even fire ., . . .

you cannot use a obd-0 distributor WITH an obd1 ecu or vice versa, GO and buy an obd-1 distributor for your motor, and remove the exhaust cam sensor as its built into the newer obd-1 dizzy...I have the same swap in my 90, but i coverted to OBD-1.

REPEAT .... OBD1 AND OBD-0 DISTRIBUTORS ARE NOT COMPATIBLE UNLESS YOUR USING THE SAME OBD ECU!!!!!
