I have a 92 civic hatchback si with a stock d16z6 engine, i want to put headers on it, but is it worth it?

how much more power will i gain?

Not headers, header. A Civic only has 1.

With just a header, probably nothing. The increase in flow from the less restrictive header will still be restricted by your stock cat/piping/muffler and their small diameter and poor bends.

If you got a CAI, header, high flow cat and a bigger diameter cat-back exhaust and muffler AND your motor was tuned and running good, you might see 10-15 hp at the most.

Header will gain HP, but it works best with other components as Mike suggested.

As far as gains vs what type of engine and whatnot. It is worth it if you like to tune D engines. Unless it is something cheap and an experimental thing, I wouldn't waste money on it.

Good D16 header by SMSP is proven to gain HP.

i got an intake on already, got an exhaust i still need to install

and im thinkin about puttin on a header...

not expectin to go crazy on the car, just wanna give it a lil more umph hahha
