Header HELP

My friend owns a 1999 Civic CX and wants to purchase an aftermarket header.

He tells me any header from 94-99 for the 1.6L will fit?

Is this correct? I'm trying to find him something on eBay suitable. Can one of you Civic experts help me out? Thanks.

PM or email jdogg@warp.nfld.net

aftermarket header will remove his catalytic converter - which means check engine light will come on, and will likely have a tough time at emissions. That being said, and D-series header with two O2 sensor bungs will fit, but only 96-00 cars had the two O2 bungs.

Kamikaze headers have been ENDYN's favourite for a while... this is a good sign.

what has he done to his car?

what kind of power does expect to get?

If he has a stock motor and wants to put on a header and expects to get some gains, he's going to be very disappointed.

He hasn't done much to his car at all. But, there's no sense in talking to him, as I've tried and tried... he doesn't listen. He's a total ricer, but he wants the header and if I can get a couple of dollars to order it, then why not?

try local shops in your area first... e-bay costs a lot to ship usually

No emissions laws.

And shipping isn't a problem. I order everything outside of this province. The "tuning" world is non-existent (unless you count Walmart and CDN Tire)....

Everything I have has come from the mainland or through the States.
