H&R OE sports
 

I have 89 crx with eibach sportlines, thought they would be alright but they lowered the car way too much, i have front camber issues- making the car handle worse, and the ride is kinda harsh.

Thinking of gettin OE sports they drop .75, anybody using them? Hows the ride? and do they really drop .75 or sag down to like 1.5. Thankks

why not the Eibach Pro kit, it's actually really nice and OEM feeling, I had it on my Saturn wagon paired with KYB shocks. worked wonderfully!!!

I have H&R coilovers on my Civic, and those kick ass as well. I love H&R products with all of my body including my peepee. But i have no direct knowledge of the OE sport spring.

i was thinking about the pro kit to, but afraid they might sag again,, car is kinda bouncy right now too

I'm planning on using the OE Sports on my 06 Si. I've read that in mpst applications, they settle to an even 1" drop and that the ride is still very soft becuase of the near stock spring rates.

I also LOVE H&R product like bbarbulo.

You won't notice any difference with OE springs, thats all they are Original equipment, the drop will be unnoticed. IMO H&R sport is what your looking for, or even Neuspeed sport. I have H&R sport on my V6 Accord and find the ride was good, althought i'd recommend aftermarket shocks as OEM shocks will just ruin the ride. Goodluck.

i have suspension technique sport springs on my 92 civic sedan and the car rides and handles awesome. they dropped the car roughly one inch

my buddy has an mk4 (vw jetta) wolfsberg edition.... comes with different rims and some other goodies but what might interest you is that the wolfsberg comes stock with h&r oe springs... i've been in the car with him and it rides nice but i mean i cant say it will ride like that on your civic since its a different car... i have sports and the ride is fine to me and thats lower...

I have the H&R 1.7 drop on my civic and no camber issues after alignment and it corners way better than I thought it would
they definitly exceeding my expectations.
go between 1-1.8
then get an alignment which you should do anyways and you'll be fine!

I've got OE sports on my 92 hatch...i'd say they sag to 1' drop. It's a noticeable drop. The ride is very good...a little stiffer than stock....some body roll. I like them as a street spring.

But the last guy that had them said they didn't drop as much on his car...so I guess it depends on how heavy your car is.

i just had Eibach springs put on my stock shocks, i think they're a 1.7 drop or something like that. but the ride is MINT, better than stock, and it doesnt drop the car to low, just perfect for daily driving

^ I think with those springs.. .your asking to blow your stock struts. Sure they'll last a b it but when you hit that pot hole or bump when your not lookin its going to compress the strut more than it usually would with stock springs. Thast what I thought with my tien s techs and it was a couple of months max before I blew the 2 rears and they were new honda struts.

i wouldnt be surprised to be honest with you, but i had coilovers on sir shocks on my last car for 3 years, they were dropped pretty muchall the way and they rode just fine, but then again, only time will tell i guess

I just installed H&R sports on my 91 Sedan on Friday with stock struts, 1.9"F/1.8"R and it rides really well I think. I've been in a few dropped cars and other than H&R (in a mk2 jetta) I didnt really like them, whether it was ebay ****, eibach, whatever. H&R hits bumps like stock, doesnt bounce too much, but feels stiff and level in corners. This is on bad tires, no alignment, and a blown rear strut... So image what it would be like with all systems go. I definatly recommend H&R. Very easy to install as well.

H&R sport is the best bet....i have them on my sedan and i love em.
