GSR fuel pump in eg with GSR swap?

Those of you with GSR swaps in your eg's ... do you all have GSR fuel pumps as well, or anything other than stock? I'm still running my stock so I'm wondering if it'll make a difference?

That's a good question, one that I'm curious about as well.

I haven't noticed any fuel delivery problems, but then again I've hardly driven the car really hard... hmm

I don't think you will need it, I'm running a B16 and still use the stock Si pump and haven't had any problems.

but do you notice a difference, or does it make a difference going from stock to GSR fuel pump?

SOHC and LS use same pumps... 79lph
all DOHC VTEC incl TypeR use higher 135lph pumps

Do you need to upgrade the pump? no...
but it would be nice to cuz the GSR will run a higher fuel pressure level.

**AGREED**

EG SOHC Civic's use DIFFERENT fuel pumps than DOHC VTEC!!!!

Also, additional to flow, peak fuel pressure is different; (adjustable fuel press reg. maxxed out

My stock Eg Si pump maxxed out @ 53psi, while my ITR pump will go as high as 65psi;

NEED to upgrade... no; stock fuel press. for GS-R is about 48~52psi which your stock fuel pump can flow.. but yeah agreed with above; DOHC VTEC would be nice!!

btw; all DOHC VTEC INTEGRA fuel pumps dropp right into your EG!!

Piece of cake!

there must be a reason that honda put diff fuel pumps in sohc and dohc. u may cant notice a diff. it's like u cant really tell u have a USMD GSR or JDM Gsr if u just sit in the car and drive it .
but it still has a diff....

just change it since it's cheap. u can get it for 50-80 anwhere.
or just buy a walbro if u wana more hp later. u can get those for like 100 usd shiped to ur door.

sorry... when i said DOHC VTEC i meant B series... i'm not sure about H22... i would assume it wouldn't need anything larger than the B series bcs instead of running a higher fuel pressure rate for the added power/fuel needed.. it just runs 280cc injectors instead of the 240cc like the Teg/Civics (exc Y7)
