Gsr Ecu

Does anyone here know where i can find a 1993 GSR ECU?? im having the hardest time finding one and dont understand why...is it REALLY rare??

Indeed it is a really rare computer. b16 computer would be almost the same thing, you might wanna try that.

It would have to be a OBD1 sir computer.

If the car is OBD1 already i would just get a p28 computer wwhich is from a sohc vtec, because if you planning on dyno later everything is set they just chip your p28.

ya, why not just use a chipped p28?

imported_Kingjames1983 30-Mar-2007 09:55 AM

what he said... but you might want to get a stock ecu when it comes to etest!

zeeman 30-Mar-2007 12:11 PM

or just use a chipped p28 with a stock P61 program on it....that will in NO WAY hinder your ability to pass an etest.
I've used p28s to run almost any engine, d-series, b-series, h-series and i know people who've used a p28 in their accord, so f-series too i guess.

I have a chipped p28 for my b16 but I keep my stock p30 I think it is for etest.

also, chipped P28 = vtec converted, chipped p06. Might be easier/less expensive to find.
Only diff from them and a p30 is knock board.
