hey.. i was just wondering if ground wire upgrade kits actually do anything or is it just one of the electric turbo gimics things? thanks

they don't help unless you had weak grounds in the first place.

Matt, my grounds were nearly falling out so I added new grounds with 4 gauge and it helped. My idle doesn't fall below 500 that often anymore. If at all.

I spent 2 bucks for the brass ends, and 5 bucks(5ft) for the 4 gauge. Some sandpaper and some rust protection thing I already had.

If you have a new car, forget it. Its a waste of time and money. If you have a 9X with 300,000km, do it!

my idle does that as well.. i'll make my own kit... do u jus replace the existing wires.. or add it to more places?

i think one from the neg terminal to fender, IM, head, Tranny, and body and one from body to the head..
