Good combo?

One day I plan to use my current 15" rims as winter rims and some new rims for summer tires.

So... here's what I came up with so far.

I want to get a pair of SSR rims (probably 16 or 17 inch). Then for springs and shocks... I plan to get Eibach racing coil springs and Bilstein shock absorbers.

What do you think of SSR rims, Eibach springs, and Bilstein shocks?

I know a lot of you guys use Eibach for springs. But what about shocks? Bilstein a good brand?

why just a pair of rims? SSR are great rims, no doubt! Eibach....a little soft for my taste, but probably the best quality spring out there. Bilstein, very pricey, very good. IMO, though Japanese build the best cars out there, there is no doubt that the germans build the best dampners out there. Think about it...Bilstein, Koni, Carrera, Ohlins, and many other race bred susp out there are German/Swedish, etc. The japanese can make a precision peice like GAB, Tein, JIC, etc. but when it comes to longevity and performance, the germans have it down for dampners. I personally use H&R coilovers.

I never plan to sell my civic. If anything.. I'll build it up then store it forever

I'm thinking about SSR rims cuz I heard they are great.
Bilstein I heard was also great and from what you guys told me.. they're good.

But how about the springs? If you don't suggest Eibach.. what do you suggest? H&R?

My friend told me.. "winter is the best time to do things to your car so when spring comes around... everybody will be like HOLY ****"

Personally I like progress springs a lot. Eibach is good, and H&R are good as well. Depends on how low you really wanna go. Daily driver = Eibach, Street/Strip = Progress, Race = H&R. Also consider Koni Sports for shocks as well as GAB. But if you will keep the car, then why not coilovers? Get a really good ride with springs and shocks that are perfectly matched. I like Progress if you have a budget, or Tein if not. JIC Magic is only for the pros.

For springs, I like H&R or Neuspeed (Sport or Race) with Koni Yellows. I have them and love them.

If SSR rims are very very expensive.. I presume.. they're really good? as in light weight and stiff/strong?

Curious...

What is the range of travel with the Cup Kit....

How low and high can you go??

I ask because I am interested in this kit for my EG...

Thanks...
