canadian tire??
if you get em there i'm gonna hafta tump u.. :fight: get toxico blues @ least..unless you are on a budget...check the for sale forum..people usually have shocks for sale.. |
if you spend cheap you'll get cheap...

nobody asked if hes lowering...
If your going with OEM springs, and dont care about performance, than yah your probably safe with a set or Monro sensetrack thinigys from crappy tire... Altho I do recomend you get a set of OEM shocks tho, from honda...(cost not sure, call and find out probably 4-500) Now if your lowering (mild), get a set of tokico hp's or koni reds, if you are lowering allot and want performance get the illuminas or the koni yellows, or Kyb AGX all of these shock will be over 500-1000$ |
man there are a ton of places and performance shops that probably have these shocks lying around the shop, don't let them rape you cause some like to rape people. They assume some people are idiots soon as they find you don't know much aboiut cars

monroes aren't bad.. the sport.highest end model should be kool.. i'm installing them on my dads toyota soon.. its lowered a bit.. but it wasn't my choice.. heh.. they should be good enough for him
|
v8hunter, if you want cheap, I'd rather see KYB GR2 than Monroe. At least KYB is aware that there IS a performance aftermarket... Monroe makes decent REPLACEMENT shocks, not much more.
|
i totally agree it wasn't my call its my dads car so i don't care.. as for my car in a few months i'll have (looking at ) koni yellows and H & R sport/nuespeed/ or eibach spotline.. still debating all decent prices so it should be alright
|
i can't lower my car much with my b16a swap like your doing v8 hunter... my engine sits much lower than stock just so you know lol

Speak with Astroboy, he seems to have a reliable source for suspension parts. I got my Koni's today shrink wrapped and headache free.
