Getting my B16A1 today...

picking up my b16 today...what else should i be getting?

timing belt
water pump
gaskets
???

and what should i be looking for on the engine, like damage and such?

p.s. where can i look up honda part numbers?

you should look at the throttle body for the throttle positioning sensor...

paid 700 no tranny or ecu...but got a trany for $150 and ecu for $100 so a total of $950

great shape other then the broken TPS...but i got one for $40

Altech says they'll do it for $3000 everything included...
is that too much ?

thats way too much!!!3000 for a first gen im assuming right?....you can get a sencond gen GSR installed for around 3500 give or take a hundred.....IMO its too much....

Hey Tman, what did you do for shifter linkage? I can't get mine to line up. First isnt where it normaly is. Non of the gears line up. Im using a 94 Integra LS linkage. Help.....what am I doing wrong?

the reason altech charges a little more for a motor swap is that they do amazing work.... no hack jobs or nothing

I work at Sisley Honda and I still take my car to Altech...
that goes to show you that they do flawless work !

i have never heard a complaint about them.... paid members get discounts there too.... not sure how much it works out to on a swap but you might save a couple hundred $$$ on it
