getting my alignment done and a camber kit

i know that after lowering my car, i need to get an alignment done, and a camber kit, if i don't wanna kill my tires. however, I have a question.

my friend told me that an alignment is to fix your steerling wheel to the right spot (ie: not tilted to the left, or right), but does NOT fix the camber on the wheels. and only by installing a camber kit will fix the camber on wheels.

is that true or not?

:bounce: <--- forced to put it here by my girlfriend... she said it was qute.....

A Civic/EL can only be aligned for toe, the way the wheels "point". They do not have any other adjustments unless you have a camber kit.

ok, so that means the answer is actually opposite to my friend.

you mean an alignment will fix how the wheels "point", but not the steerling wheel?

please clarify if i got u wrong. thx !

Well if you're alignment in off, then your steering wheel might not be pefectly straight. Once you set the alignment, the wheel should be fine.
