gave my head a bath(pics)

hey i decided to wash my d16z6 head today after portmatching everything, I started off buy using engine cleaner on the outside of the head and brushed all the gunk off with a tooth brush. then i took the valve cover off and washed the head completely with warm soapy water and it turned out great.. check it out

So now there is no lubrication on cams? Can that be good?

not for dry starts lol since it will take awhile for oil to get in between the cams

after washing engine parts with hot soapy water you should always give it a coat of some WD-40 to prevent rust/oxidization.
And make sure to put some assembly lube or at least engine oil on the cam/lobes/rockers before start up.

good job and best of all, the effort you made to take everything out and DIY. Most ppl wont risk it but it feels nice when somebody does it. Great work.
