anyone ever have ur gas pedal get stuick? its an automatic..and the gas pedal got stuck...if i was in d3..and it got to redline.. would this happen? it woudlnt get unstuck..and would keep revfging higher and higher..i had to hit the brakes until i could wedge it loose with my heel... wtf is taht ..there was nothin under it also

Are you sure your carpet ddnt get it stuck? Cause that happened to me on the highway and i sorta panic a bit lol

never heard that.. only thing I could imagine is the throttle cable got stuck.. you may want to follow the pedal up to the throttle and check along the way.

yup happened to my sister, not as severe tho. I changed out the cable and all is well

Could be the throtle cable as suggested above. They're cheap from dealer and easy to replace. $20ish

Or it could even be the kickdown cable for the auto tranny. Although I'm not sure if the Honda's use a kickdown cable for the A/T. Haven't been around too many A/T Honda's, nor have I payed attention to it.
